1.  The Virginia Community Policing Institute offers " Mousetrap: Protectng America's Children from Online Predators" an interactive CD to help parents stay informed about the Internet and potential dangers online at www.vcpionline.org/mousetrap.asp

2.  The Virginia Department of Health offers a list of Internet safety tips and other resources for parents at www.vahealth.org/civp/Topics/internet.asp

3.  GetNetWise allows parents to search or browse for Internet safety products, including those that filter explicit or violent content; monitor a child's Internet access; or limit time online.  It also has a sample of an agreement between parent and teen that sets limits on Internet use, at http://kids.getnetwise.org
