Craft Challenged
writes, "If anyone can relate to Patty's article about being craft challenged please post a note and let us know she's not alone. (article can be read on the family section.)"
I am very Craft challenged. Even being a teacher my students used to ask me what I was drawing on the board, they couldn't tell what animal. Having just past Halloween, I was excited to see my kids wanted to be something I could pick up in a store and not something I had to sew. That was a disaster waiting to happen last year. And crafts just don't mean color, cut and paste, I remember when I thought being a good mom meant making my son's birthday cake. I almost lit the house on fire with the paper things I stuck to the cake to make it look like a race car. Which really just looked like a blue blob with wheels. So I'm happy to say I've come to the conclusion that my children will still love me even if I can't make those cute little cupcakes that look like Elmo and I have to buy them at Ukrops instead. hee
