AudioHope is a non-invasive Music Therapy program. It is designed to aid those with auditory processing problems gain a better quality of life through hearing improvements. Some insurance companies will even cover this procedure. Hope for a better quality of life through Music.
Auditory Integration Training is a form of intensive non-invasive treatment for those who suffer from hearing sensitivity and distortions in hearing. AIT provides stimulation to the hearing mechanism, which produces more normal hearing following treatment. Hearing anomalies can affect many aspects of normal everyday life, especially behavior, sensitivity to noises, social interaction, speech and language development and learning.
AudioHope is a sound and music program designed to be implemented by professional Speech-Language Pathologists who seek to remediate speech/language delays in their patients.
AudioHope employs an auditory integration training device which facilitates an individuals’ responsiveness to his or her surroundings, often including a corresponding increase in more attentive behavior to the school work and home environments. The program may be used to remediate sound-related perceptual distortions, “unbalanced” hearing and sound sensitivity in children and adults. They system uses specially selected music processed through a proprietary device. This processing is similar to an electronic stereo equalizer. The device plays the audio through high quality stereo headphones.
