How will Community Kindness Partners Work?

SpotlightRichmond.com will host the Community Kindness Partners. All participants will be listed in separate directories, with links back to their websites.

Schools will be given their own webpage. They will be able to tell their story about kindness projects they are doing, and the projects they would like to do, with the help of the community. Their “Wish List” will be posted.

Corporations, businesses will be featured in several ways; on SpotlightRichmond.com’s comprehensive free directory, on Community Kindness Partners special directory, through content on the Kindness pages and with a free link to their website.

Faith-based, community and not-for-profit groups will also be featured on Community Kindness Partners special directory, which will include a brief description of your organization with a link to your site. Churches can be listed on SpotlightRichmond.com’s free directory.

Individuals, families, clubs will be featured on Community Kindness Partners special directory and on kindness pages. All are welcome to submit ideas, quotes, and suggestions.

We will “report” acts of kindness every Wednesday (Wednesday is Kindness Day in Richmond).

Kindness Ambassadors

It’s free – simply decide to encourage kindness in your area. You can be a Kindness Ambassador in your neighborhood, doing simple acts of kindness that will hopefully inspire others to perform kind acts of their own. You may wish to involve your family, friends, a group, a faith-based organization or your workplace. You may be as involved as you wish.

One point to remember, being a Kindness Ambassador is not a rigid commitment. This can be a short-term, flexible volunteer position. As you are kind to others, we encourage you to be kind to yourself too. Move at your own pace.

Ideally, we would like to have volunteer Kindness Ambassador  in each geographic area; especially in the schools since we are choosing Kindness in Our Schools as our first kindness project. We see Kindness Ambassadors serving as a source of encouragement, facilitating communication and giving practical support – helping us tell the good stories as their time permits. To become a Kindness Ambassador, please fill out this form or send an email toinfo@SpotlightRichmond.com  You can always call Karen at: 874-4591.

Sponsorships/Underwriting Opportunities

The goal is to have the message of kindness permeate the community…through the media, with promotional materials, through cross promotions,

e-mail campaigns and more. Cash or in-kind sponsorships or donations are welcome and appreciated. A limited number of advertising opportunities will also be available. For more information, please complete this short form.
