Prayer Network

  For where two or three are gathering together in My name, There am I in the midst of them.

 Rev. Milton Hathaway, pastor, New Covenant Community Church in New Kent preaches powerfully about Releasing God’s vision in ministry, your church, your community and your life.  He (and other great leaders) challenge us to build bridges, not walls and to be a people of prayer who take care of each other. 

My vision is a belief that God is calling ALL of us to be united in prayer.  Many of us have opportunities to pray with faith-filled brothers and sisters.  Metro-Richmond Prayer Crusade (321-4134) has a 24-hour prayer line.  MetroRichmond at Prayer has gathered more than 200 churches that are praying for needs in our city.  Some ministries gather at a certain time and send emails out asking people to pray with them for a specific need.  This is all very encouraging.  We offer one more way to gather in prayer. 

We invite you to join the Prayer Network.  This is a private, Member Only online prayer network.  Requests will be posted and emailed to members only once a week (more often if requests are urgent).

We have gathered a group of people who are committed to praying for our city, special needs and your requests each week.  We will post those prayers and ask you to join us in praying for God’s blessing.  We will also post your requests (you can use your name or initials – whatever you like).   We also want to post praise reports, so please let us know how God answered your prayer.

All are welcome.  From people of all ages who don’t belong to any church, to those involved in ministry, charitable works, business, government, church leadership, pastors.  Can you imagine the miracles we will see when we take time to lift each other up in prayer – expecting our awesome God to reveal His love and purpose for our lives?
